Account Takeover

Account takeover refers to a user gaining unauthorized access to an account and carrying out illegitimate transactions. A user can obtain illegal access to an account through severals ways, such as credential stuffing, phishing, or acquiring credentials via databases or black markets.

Fake Registrations

Fake registrations occur when fraudsters obtain illegal access to accounts, either by using stolen personal credentials or taking over existing accounts. These fake accounts can then be used for malicious purposes, such as promo abuse or money laundering.
