SEA Gamer Mall is an online digital trading and services platform for gamers, developers and publishers – users can buy game cards, gift cards and mobile reloads. Since inception in 2007, it has aggressively penetrated the Southeast Asian market and has expanded its operations around the world serving customers in Europe, Middle-East, North America and more recently South America.

Company Growth Stifled by Fear of Fraud

Much of SEA Gamer Mall’s revenues come from the sale of digital goods such as game cards, gift cards and mobile reloads. Unfortunately, these goods are highly susceptible to fraud and often resold in the black market by fraudsters. As a result, SEA Gamer Mall suffered from frequent coordinated fraud attacks and high chargeback rates.
